Welcome to the Jungle, a trip to the Wacken Church and so much more!

Things are heating up around here, and the closer we get to W:O:A, the hotter and crazier the program highlights become!
Today, we present to you the final acts for the LGH Clubstage, Wasteland & Wackinger Stage, a special performance in the Wacken Church, and the full program for the Welcome to the Jungle Stage… So, let’s dive in!
The final wave for the LGH Clubstage kicks off with the “Sabbelstunde” (chatter hour) featuring Manu and Konny Reimann (who will also continue chatting later on the WTTJ Stage).
Musical reinforcement comes from, in their own words, “Goat Stable Punk” somewhere between hardcore and reggae by Charles the Goat from Kiel. Our Swedish friends Bai Bang, led by frontman Diddi Kastenholt, are also back in action.
Random is only the band’s name—the heavy band from Wuppertal will show the W:O:A crowd how it’s done, even after 40 years of band history.
Next up is Grand Slam. No, not the tennis tournament, but the project founded in 1984 as the follow-up to Thin Lizzy by Phil Lynott and Laurence Archer, which Archer revived in 2016 after a long break.
You can also wrap up your evenings at LGH with the Ballroom DJ Team and the legendary Metal Karaoke Massacre!
As every year, the Wacken Church will host a special event in 2025.
Here the Ukrainian rising stars The Hardkiss, led by frontwoman Julija Sanina, will perform a very special show. Don’t miss it—the space is limited!
The Wackinger Stage gets a final boost from the feel-good tunes of the Feelgood McLouds and Asrock completes the lineup on the Wasteland Stage.
From music to spoken word, from comedy to metal yoga, to readings and late-night shows—the Welcome to the Jungle Stage has it all once again!
Timeless Wacken classics like Maschine’s Late Night Show, Alien Rockin Explosion, Metal Yoga with Saskia, Mutz + Special Guests, or Nori’s Pub Quiz are just the beginning.
We’ve also packed in tons of readings for the metal bookworms among you:
Bastian Zach with “Death over Wacken”, Chris Boltendahl with “Grave Digger – The Definitive Biography”, and John Wray with “Unter Wölfen”.
Christof Leim will read excerpts from “Music and Crime”, the guys from Rage bring stories from “Soundchaser”, and the lineup is completed by Sabina Classen, Nico Rose & Acoustic Steel with “Laut.Stark.Leben.” Have we mentioned Sebastian Fitzek? He’ll be reading from his book “Kalender Mädchen”.
And if your eyes or ears haven’t turned square by then, you can also check out readings by Wolfgang Niedecken & Mike Herting, and Holger Schmenk with “Sodom – Born on Coal.”
After all that intellectual metal content, it’s time for some exercise! Alongside our beloved Metal Yoga, the Metal Workouts will whip your tired bones into shape.
If you’d rather train your laughing muscles, look no further than Kay Ray and Michael Haubold, aka Olaf Schubert, who have once again cooked up a VERY special Wacken show. Reis Against the Spülmaschine will do the same in musical form with their unique interpretations of timeless classics.
And to top it all off, there’s the Kack & Sachgeschichten Podcast. As you can see—premium content all around!
Starting to feel like someone wants to pull the plug on us?
In that case, our acoustic companions Acoustic Steel, Mit Ohne Strom, and the Acoustic Guerillas await you at the unplugged front.
But what about Poetry Slam? Of course, the Wacken Slam Battle is back. What did you expect?
Things get loud again toward the end with Henning Wanner plays Savatage (or Ozzyfied with a twist).
The wonderful Britta Görtz, currently filling in with Heaven Shall Burn and known for screaming her lungs out into Mr. Bischoff’s microphone, presents Growling Infotainment.
Last but not least, things get Dead Serious—well, maybe not entirely serious—with Dead Serious – a SKYND Talk, today’s final program highlight.
But wait… are we really done? Is that it? And what about the Running Order?
Questions upon questions—we’ll answer them for you next week. PROMISE!
