Wacken Winter Nights - New info regarding Camping & ticket sales

Dear friends,

today we can supply you with further info regarding the parking & camping situation as well as the current state of the Wacken Winter Nights pre-sale.

In the last few weeks we were flooded with inquiries regarding the camping situation but today we can give you the first concrete info about that specific topic. But let's take the most important info in advance: We can give you a definite YES for parking & camping!

One day parking lot: A fitting area for short term parkers has been aquired which is situated directly beside the event area. From there it takes you less than 2 minutes to reach the festival.

Parking & Camping: We can deliver good news for all of you brave valiants who defy wind and weather, who fearlessly face ice and snow and to those of you who even not blink and eye when the mead starts freezing in your beard! We have found a fitting area for parking & camping which is in directy proximity to the festival area. The capacity of this camping area lasts for all festival visitors! Camping is allowed directly at your car and even campers and caravans are allowed. There will be enough sanitary facilities and we also plan to place some breakfast stands (as known from W:O:A). Further info regarding the position and infrastructure will follow approximately by the end of March.

Wagon Fort: As known from the Camperpark Wacken we will establish a further area with already pitched and furnished campers and perhaps(!) some additional wooden huts. Those can be rented and you can immediately get in as soon as you've got your keys. On spot there will be a reception desk where you will get your keys and camper number, sanitary facilites and more. All campers will have a power supply. Further we offer power supplies for people arriving with own campers and caravans. The capacity for those services is limited. We will add a special booking page for those services at www.wacken-winter-nights.com and we plan to start the booking period by the end of March. Although there is still a whole year of time until the premiere of Wacken Winter Nights starts, we can happily declare that already half of the tickets have been sold! So if you want to be part of this new medieval spectacle you should hurry up and save your ticket in time!
