Wacken rocks Berlin - sold out!

The party hosted by the Wacken organisers taking place during the Popkomm on 10.10.2008 in the White Trash in Berlin was a complete success.

A large crowd gathered in the popular location to celebrate together with the organisers. The event started with local heroes Havanna Heat Club who really got the audience rocking in the basement of the White Trash.

Next on were the ladies of Girlschool who recently signed their first deal with Wacken Records. Their next album „Legacy“ will also be distributed by this label. Even after more than 30 years the British quartet still knows how to convince playing live and continued to heat up the audience.

During the intervals BugGirl from Australia played a fantastic gig in the restaurant and knew how to wow the party-goers.

The final was the performance of the „Surprise Act“. And this was in fact no-one less than DORO Pesch who played an exclusive accoustic set together with Wacken staff member YONG on the guitar which consisted of the 3 songs All We Are, Für Immer and Burning the Witches. Accompanied by a lot of jubilation and applause this rounded off a completely successful live evening.

Moreover, the new top single "Celebrate" by Doro was introduced exclusively.

All this was followed by an Aftershow Party with music mixed by DJ Alban of the Rockcafe Hamburg and the certainty that this fantastic event will surely be repeated next year.
