Wacken on Wheels - Companions for people with disabilities & travel guide

Created by WackenJasper
04/21/2016

Inclusion has to be loud! A group of music fans has taken this slogan (Inklusion Muss Laut Sein) for their campaigns, to improve the inclusion of handicapped fans at concerts and festival.

And this is also a very important topic for us. We want to achieve, that every fan can experience the festival as good as possible, independent of their personal circumstances. We present you the first new steps in this news.

Are you looking for an experienced companion for the Wacken Open Air (or another event), because you have to deal with special problems? Check out the companion service! The homepage is only available in German, but the crew has no problem with English emails and registrations.

In addition, the society has just released a travel guide for Wacken. It comes in both English and German and gives you all the needed information about the village and the festival. It has a special focus on the needs of wheelcahir users and is available here.

More actions are planned for the festival itself, a lot of things will happen - so stay tuned for more details!

The work of the charity society costs a lot of money, and they are collecting donations. If you want to help them, you can send money to this bank account. Every Euro helps!
