Thin Lizzy cancels all shows for 2009

Dear Metalheads

Unfortunately we have to prepare you for some bad news. The following statement is firsthand from “Thin Lizzy” guitarist, Scott Gorham:

“It´s been a very tough time of late for myself and the band, firstly with drummer Tommy Aldridge´s injury and now the subsequent decision for John and the rest of the group to go their separate ways. I can only apologize to everyone who has supported us over the years, but we will be back up to full speed soon.”

Scott Gorham is planning to announce information regarding future plans for “Thin Lizzy” shortly. Shows confirmed for 2009 will be cancelled or postponed until further notice, including the performance at W:O:A 2009.
