The grand finale of the W:O:A X-Mas Calendar!
Today is Christmas Eve and we reached the grand finale of our W:O:A X-Mas Calendar once more. Next to the new band announcements, we also unlocked the form to enter the star prizes raffle at xmas.wacken.com. Attention: We made two little errors, so please check all your letters again!
You can win unique prizes like a co moderation at the Tobias Sammet Show on Radio Bob or a journey with the cruise ship Mein Schiff 5. And we also raffle some great daily prizes again, you can take part until Midnight!
Here are the last band announcements for this year - we will fire the next bomb already in the night of New Year's Eve at 00:01 (German time)!
The master of schock rock retunrs! Songs like School's Out and Poison made Alice Cooper immortal back in the 70s and 80s. And his sophisticated stage shows made him the public enemy number one for all concerned parents. Nowadays he hasn't lost any of his charisma and power, he still knows how to rock the stage and to please the crowds.
Thrash Metal legend Dave Mustaine will rock Wacken for the second time! He still is very successfull with his band Megadeth and the new albums can bear comparison with the old hits easily. They just released their 15th studialbum, called Dystopia. It pleases both the revierwes and fans and the current lineup is working great too!
Flotsam & Jetsam are worshipping the Thrash Metal too, but they add some progressive elements to it. The band was founded in 1981 and shared the stages with bands like Megadeth, Armored Saint or Mercuyful Fate back in the early days. They will make their Wacken debut next next year!
