The festival maps & the festival alphabet for W:O:A 2023 are available!
Now the time has come and after a few last-minute changes, we finally have the festival maps ready for you!
As always there is an overall map that shows you the big picture, as well as a detailed plan that focuses on the actual event area.
In addition to many small innovations there are also some larger ones which we would like to list here in detail:
This year the capacity of the wristband exchange was increased significantly. The wristband exchange at the top left of the camping plaza has 54 counters where metalheads can pick up their wristbands at the same time. Pay attention to the walking direction from the camping areas in the direction of Camping Plaza! All of you arriving by bus can pick up your wristband directly at the bus station. Other wristband exchanges are in the Wheels of Steel area, in the Residenz Evil and Moshtel for visitors of this respective areas.
Another innovation is that the beer garden in the infield is covered.
More camping areas: Since we have had to accommodate more and more vehicles and tents with the same number of visitors for years, the space requirement has increased. We have therefore expanded the camping areas in the west. Ideally, however, you use your cars so well that the distant areas are not needed - then the distances for EVERYONE will be shorter.
Also new to the campsites this year is shower camp S8, which supplies the new western W areas with showers and flushed toilets.
