Slipknot confirmed for W:O:A 2022

Behind the scenes, we are already going full throttle towards Wacken Open Air 2022. Of course, we are trying to re-sign many of your darlings from both of the previously announced line-ups once again, and the ranks are filling up. Today we have the honor to confirm one of your absloute favorites for the next W:O:A: Slipknot!

The masked Nine from Iowa are still very excited for their Wacken debut (originally scheduled for 2020), just as much as you and we are! Currently the band is tinkering with new music, according to first reports we can look forward to extremely diabolical and brutal material. And apparently it comes with the next incarnation of the legendary masks… The anticipation for their show has officially reached a new high!

And since third time’s the charm, it would take the devils work to not let this finally happen! Thus, the horror motto of Wacken Open Air 2022 still fits like blood splatters on an axe - or the baseball bat on the keg!
