Ross The Boss is coming to Wacken!

Enough fooling around: Of course Wacken Open Air will stay Wacken Open Air! Nevertheless, we would like to use this opportunity to thank all of our neighbors for their lasting support – without you, W:O:A would be unthinkable!

The festival wouldn't be the same without bands either, so here is the next announcement for this year's spectacle!

Ross The Boss – Special Manowar Set

Ross "The Boss" Friedmann will hit Wacken with one of his celebrated Manowar shows! The co-founder of the world's loudest band recorded six albums with the true metal heroes until he decided to focus on other projects.

At W:O:A 2017, he will play the highlights of said six records such as the immortal hits Battle Hymn, Hail & Kill, Fighting the World and Kings of Metal. Ross influenced all of them with his guitar play and has been highly involved in the songwriting for most of them.
