Rage, Venom Inc. and Cradle of Filth join the lineup!

Today is the second Advent and we prepared something special again - three gigs which we are looking forward to very much. Oh and by the way: The second "Mighty Tale of Metal" will appear on Wacken.TV at 2 pm. This time it's about a boy named Steve from England. Don't miss it!
Rage – XIII feat. Lingua Mortis Orchestra
In 1999, almost 20 years ago, Rage released their most successful album to date. 13 is it name and it is one of three orchestral albums Rage recorded. In 2019 Rage will dedicate a very special show to this album’s anniversary, together with the Lingua Mortis Orchestra of course! This show will only be performed once throughout Germany – at Wacken Open Air 2019.
Venom Inc.
The British metal band Venom is considered a pioneer of the whole extreme metal movement and what we owe to this band can hardly be measured.
With Venom Inc. the two band founders Mantas and Abbadon and the long-time drummer Demoliton Man return to Wacken. But Venom Inc. does not only pays homage to its own past, but on the contrary looks forward and produces new music.
Cradle of Filth
A Cradle of Filth concert is always a special event and also in Wacken we have seen some fantastic shows of the English Extreme Metal Band. In 2019 Dani Filth and his fellow riders will stop by again to bring us their current album Cryptoriana - The Seductiveness of Decay and plunge the sacred field into darkness once again.
