Night To Dismember 2022: Here’s the lineup!

In 2022 we will keep our lovely tradition for the W:O:A Thursday: While the infield will see the Night To Remember with classic acts on the main stages, while at the same time the Night To Dismember will come up with a nasty extreme metal attack extraordinaire.

Of course, this fits in perfectly with today's Halloween festivities, so throw your bloodied hands in the air for lineup of our Night To Dismember 2022:

Belphegor - Special Ritus Incendium Diaboli Show

The black metal legend returns to Wacken! Already at their 2007 and 2018 appearances, the area briefly turned into the "Unholy Ground", for their third visit the Austrians have now promised a very special show, which you will only get to see on a few, hand-picked occasions in the coming year. This is going to be one hell of a show!

Mork

Are you ready for True Halden Black Metal? Originally started as a one-man-project by Thomas Eriksen, Mork are now one of the most interesting Norwegian black metal bands of recent times. The current album "Kathedralen" was enhanced by Nocturno Culto (Darkthrone), among others, which shows Eriksen's status in the scene.

Kampfar

We are very happy that Kampfar are answering the call of the Wacken Open Air for the fourth time! Their raw, somewhere between folklore and pitch-black metal sounds are perfect for shaking heads and singing Norwegian battle chants.

Pestilence

While it might be hard to believe, it is actually true: Pestilence will finally celebrate their Wacken debut! With classics like "Land Of Tears" and songs from the new album "Exitivm", you will be treated to finest Dutch death at highest technical level!

Rotting Christ

After an absence of 12 years, Rotting Christ will do us the honour for the second time! The Greeks have long been revered not only by friends of Black Metal and are still more than relevant for this scene after more than 30 years of work. So we are looking forward to a set full of extreme hits!

Vomitory

The Swedish death metal legends will grace W:O:A with one of their rare 30th anniversary shows in 2022 and provide the right dose of oldschool beatings at our Night To Dismember. Eyewitnesses to their last visit in 2012 still report with shining eyes of weeks of neck pain....

Gaerea

After the Portuguese have already stirred up the global black metal underground, we are very happy to welcome Gaerea for their W:O:A debut. Look forward to raw, cathartic sounds!
