New bands – program nearly complete!

Today’s wave of bands fills nearly all slots of this year’s Wacken Open Air! The colorful package adds bands from several genres and the framework programme.
Phil Campbell All Starr Band
Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell will join us with his All Starr Project! The band was found in 2013 and consists of Phil and his three sons Todd, Dane and Tyler. They play both Motörhead classics, covers and self-written songs.

The Raven Age
The young British band The Raven Age is dedicated to modern Metal sounds, but they use to keep more melodic than other bands with this sound. In 2014, they band released a self-titled EP and afterwards they started to tour with Iron Maiden.

Beyond The Black
Up and coming: The symphonic metal band Beyond The Black is going to present its new album "Lost in Forever" in Wacken. The band played shows with the Scorpions recently and soon they will join KoRn for two shows. But they have also scheduled another headliner tour – they story continues.

Barb Wire Dolls
From Greece with Punk: The grunge/punk newcomer band with female power at the microphone is smashing stages world-wide at the moment. We’re looking forward to see it live!

Steak Number Eight
Some doom, some sludge and a little bit of post: Steak Number Eight are using lots of ingredients to create an awesome sound. The young band is going to visit us as part of their huge festival tour this summer.

Buffalo Summer
Pleasant Southern Rock is the trademark of Buffalo Summer. The band just released its new studio album Second Sun and they will present it at Wacken of course!

Budderside
These four friends are traveling all the way from LA to Wacken, with some modern Hard Rock in their luggage. The band is going to release its debut album this year but they already have a lot of experience with other projects.

The stage in the Beergarden and the Wackinger Village get some new names too! Get ready for Knasterbart, Wirrwahr, The O'Reillys and the Paddy Hats, Asrock, Honky and the vikings of Forgotten North.
And of course there can’t be a party in Wacken without Skyline, Blaas of Glory, the W:O:A Firefighters, Mambo Kurt and our community band Victims of Madness!
