Today is the First Sunday of Advent and we are going to celebrate it with three new names – one band has already played Wacken Open Air, the other two will make their debuts. And we can also announce the first winners of our big raffle – and the new raffle is already running. Head over to xmas.wacken.com to join it.

Testament

Bay Area Thrash at its finest – Testament are returning to Wacken! Chuck Billy and his mates are currently working on their new album: They will hit the studio in early 2019 and probably release it before W:O:A 2019.
 

 

Septicflesh

The band started back in 1990, just like the festival, but somehow they never played here. Until now! Friends of Symphonic Death Metal will enjoy their show for sure. See you in Wacken!
 

 

Gernotshagen

Pagan Metal mixed with some Black and Folk elements – Gernotshagen don’t take prisoners! The German band is going to release a new album in 2019 too and we are curious what they have come up with.
