The year 2000 – millennium.
The world kept on turning, a disappointing German national football team crashed out of the Euros in the group stage, and the expo in Hannover attracted a global audience.
Thin Lizzy and Venom headlined our beloved festival, and Iron Maiden took all our breaths away by bringing back Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith and releasing ''Brave New World''.
What a year!
