Also this year we had increased the server capacity but the run for the X-MAS tickets did so also and peaked during the sale to more than 12.000 users at the same time who wanted one of the tickets. Due to these unpredictable masses we sadly had some problems with the servers and some users suffered on time outs.
Herewith we want to thank you all for your fantastic support and loyalty during the past decades. A quarter century of “Louder than Hell” needs to be celebrated in the right way and for the 25th Anniversary in 2014 we will again present a high class line-up with many highlights and great side attractions. Until the 31st of August 2013 you have also an option to buy the optional and exclusive Anniversary shirt for just 14,99€ - you can buy one shirt per ticket and all fees are already included! This special offer is meant as a “thank you” for your amazing support! The shipping of the t-shirts will be handled by our partner EMP and will start earliest on 01st of September 2013.

To proceed against black market, black marketers and Ebay-hustlers we once more have optimized the Wacken ticket personalization.
ATTENTION: The tickets are personalized, every ticket will have a printed name on it.
Here is a short summary of the most important changes:
1) All Wacken tickets are personalized upfront. You have to fill in first name and surname during the order process. Names will be printed onto the ticket.
2) To obtain equality of opportunity the maximum amount of purchasable X-MAS Tickets per person and order is limited to 2 tickets. First name and surname of the additional person you order a ticket for has to also be filled in during the order process at www.metaltix.com!
3) It is still possible to order up to 5 tickets of the regular 3-Days-All In Ticket. First and surnames of ALL PERSONS have to be filled in during the order process at www.metaltix.com!
4) Tickets can´t be exchanged, handed over or resold anymore because they are bound to the name of each owner (Excerption: The new official and anonymized W:O:A ticket exchange). According to this we recommend the conclusion of a ticket insurance for a fee of 6,60€ during the order process. (Info regarding ticket insurance can be found HERE)
5) Name changes are possible for a fee of 15€ and require the submission of a copied personal id of the ticket owner.

We remain true to our principles – If it´s SOLD OUT then it is really SOLD OUT. That´s why no one day tickets are planned for 2014. Please make sure to get your tickets in time.
