Livestreams on Thursday

Of course we have prepared something for all those who stayed at home: You can follow the unique festival atmosphere from 1 to 3 August from the comfort of your sofa - worldwide via the Deutsche Telekom livestream at stream.wacken.com and magenta-musik-360.de!

Let's go to the official festival start on Thursday: The band Skyline on the Faster-Stage, who have been with the festival since its beginning, will kick off from 14.30-15.30. For the 30th W:O:A anniversary there will be a very special show for the fans with well-known guests, including metal queen Doro and even Skyline founding member and festival boss Thomas Jensen, who will once again play the bass!

From 15.45-16.45 Beyond The Black will be on the Harder-Stage. Since 2015 the band around singer Jennifer Haben proves that they have found their place in the world of hard music. On August 31st the new album will be released, and the band will probably present one or two songs from it.

Afterwards there will be classical Hard Rock from the Swiss band Krokus, who will play the Faster-Stage from 17-18.15 o'clock. Switching on is definitely worth it here, because at the end of the year the musicians pull the plug and hang their instruments on the hook after a long career.

On the Harder-Stage from 18.30-19.45 Hammerfall perform first-class Eighties Heavy Metal, before their Swedish compatriots Sabaton show the biggest and most elaborate show of their band history at 22 o'clock - on both main stages at the same time! 20 years anniversary of the band meet the 30th edition of our festival - of course we want to celebrate it!

With our livestreams on Thursday eight hours of unique concert program worldwide in HD quality will be available on Smartphone, Tablet, PC and EntertainTV. Some performances will even be recorded with a 360-degree camera. In addition, you can find interviews with artists and other clips in the Magenta Music Media Library.
