Line-Up reinforcement from China - 2 new band announcements

As every year we also tried our best in this year to get you some metal bands from the far east to play at Wacken.

We are proud to announce that with Yaksa and Suffocated we can confirm 2 of the most famous metal bands from China.

YAKSA

The Chinese Band Yaksa belongs to the first wave of Chinese metal bands and their first album is usually recognized as the first Chinese nu metal album. Their music touches several genres and contains elements from death metal, metalcore and nu metal. The band gained a lot of fame in China and has already headlined several national festivals.

SUFFOCATED

Another band from China which will play at the Wacken Open Air is Suffocated. The band is one of the oldest thrash/death metal bands from china is known as one of the uncrowned founders of the local scene. You can await Thrash Metal it it´s best!
