GIBSON GUITARS and WACKEN:OPEN:AIR announce cooperation

It's only fitting when the world's biggest instrument manufacturer teams up with the biggest Metal festival on the planet: GIBSON and WACKEN.

The legendary WACKEN:OPEN:AIR has been called "a mecca for metal fans worldwide", and rightfully so. If you like your music heavy and loud, if you are looking for a good time celebrating all things Metal, this Open Air event in the North of Germany has been the place to go for more than a decade. Artists like In Flames, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Machine Head and The Scorpions have graced the stage, many of them Gibson lovers and players. This year's edition, which takes place from July 31st to August 2nd, features no one less than the mighty Iron Maiden along with an impressive supporting cast. No wonders the festival has been sold out since March…
