Finntroll: Interview with singer Vreth at Rockalarm! TV
They are the undisputed kings of Finnish Folk-Metal: Finntroll.
In Hamburg, TOURETTES bassist and Rockalarm! host Ross Empson met singer Mathias Lillmåns, better known as “Vreth”. He talked relaxedly over a beer about the differences of touring in the USA and in Europe, the current hype about Folk- and Pagan-Metal in North America and the current work on a live DVD of the concert in Amsterdam 2008.
At the moment the band is also giving the finishing touches to their songs for the new album which is to be released in March 2009. The new material will be presented live to the fans on some summer festivals for the first time. And last but not least we learn something about the boozy life in a tour bus with two hard drinking Finnish bands at once. Well then: Cheers!
