Day 4 of the calendar – we present the Night To Dismember!
Today we present you a new concept for the upcoming Wacken Open Air: The Night To Dismember!
This pitch-black night of destruction will take place parallel to the known Night To Remember on Thursday, but the focus is set on carefully selected music for friends of the cultured noise.
The already announced Mayhem and Napalm Death are the basement and now we add the following acts:
Brilliant Death Metal from Belgium! Earlier this year, the Belgium kings of gore metal released their new album “Retrogore”. The album is the proof, that they still know exactly what they have to do and that they haven’t unlearned anything since their last Wacken show in 2006!
One of the most exciting German Black Metal bands from the last decade joins us for the second time. The band conveniently hails from the area of Germany that is known as the black forest and they are blasting their sounds out since 2004. Gloomy and dark but always atmospheric – welcome back!
Another act from Germany, but this time it’s all about Death Metal! They released their new album Worship The Grave this summer and will present it at Wacken next year in our Night To Dismember. And this will also be their Wacken premier!
No normal band for sure! Brujeria are singing in Spanisch and they play something between Grindcore and Detah Metal. The members of the project are changing often, they sometimes just join for one album or a few shows – and they are hailing from famous acts like Faith No More, At The Gates, Fear Factory, Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir or Nile. At the moment they are active against and we love to welcome them for their first Wacken show!
Exactly one year ago it happened: On the 4th of December 2015, Batushka appeared from nowhere and the musicians released their debut album without any preannouncement. There was no big promotion, but they conquered the Black Metal scene in no time. It isn’t known who plays in the band, but we know that the members are from Poland. And the musicians are obviously pros and have to be known artists.
