The W:O:A gets area-wide, mobile Wi-Fi!

Dear Metalheads!

As you might know we always try to keep up with new inventions and present a state of the art festival experience.

Comprehensive WiFi, especially in the outer areas of the campground, was always a complicated issue that could only be solved to a limited extent. But now we have found an adequate solution!

With the help of the local farmers in the surrounding municipalities of Wacken, Gribbohm, Holstenniendorf, Besdorf, Bokelrehm, Nutteln, Agethorst and Vaale we have set up a joint project that has never existed in this form before!

We are talking about mobile area-wide bio-Wi-Fi, which is transported with the help of transportable routers on the backs of the local cattle herds. On each farm a certain number of cattle are equipped with the aforementioned routers, which are attached to their backs with special straps.

From there the mooing routers then autonomously make their way to the festival site. For safety reasons the cattle always have the right of way.

We call the result MUH-LAN (MOO-FI) - the sustainable and natural Full Metal Wi-Fi! That means no more partying and surfing at your favorite festival without bandwidth!

In order to celebrate this grandiose idea appropriately we have created a corresponding t-shirt.
