Bloody X-Mas 2025 – it was a blast!

And once again, you as a metal community have shown what it means to dedicate yourselves wholeheartedly to a good cause. Last weekend, thanks to you, we were able to collect nearly 200 blood donations at the Charité campus in Berlin Mitte. That's approximately 20 percent of the monthly production of the Charité's ZTB (Zentrum für Transfusionsmedizin und Zelltherapie Berlin GmbH). The donations for Childhood House Berlinare also impressive: €8,930 was raised!
We would like to thank everyone who was there. Our thanks also go to the fantastic artists who helped us raise awareness about the importance of blood donation.
Besides the atmospheric performances by Deine Cousine, Lord of The Lost, Lenny Bruce Jr., and Morgana Le Fay feat. Niko from Bloodfang, the Berlin pub choir provided goosebump moments. Heaven Shall Burn not only shook hands at the meet and greet and mingled with the crowd, but also paid a visit to the blood donation center staff to get a closer look at everything. Lead singer Marcus, an intensive care nurse, in particular, engaged in many professional discussions with his colleagues.
We would like to thank all the volunteers on site once again, especially the hardworking staff at the blood donation center who drew blood like there was no tomorrow, and of course our partners who supported us:
Knabe Malz, Radio BOB!, Metal Hammer, Corrupted Blood, Voelkel, Krombacher, Claus Viets aka Master of Apfelpunsch made in Wacken, Edeka Berlin Invalidenstraße, Team Barflow, MTL Medien Ton und Licht, Pflanzen Kölle Teltow, XM Cyber, and last but not least, Metality Chapter Berlin and the Wacken Foundation.
A final quote that sums it all up perfectly came from Lord Of The Lost singer Chris Harms: "Many forget that giving and receiving also means giving!"
At Bloody X-Mas in Berlin, everyone definitely gave it all.
