Green Wacken has been a topic close to our hearts for years and every year we introduce more and more measures to make Wacken Open Air a cleaner and more sustainable festival. Furthermore, we want to ensure that everyone feels equally comfortable at Wacken Open Air - True to the motto “loud at work to make a change”!

Regardless of whether it is the simple distribution of garbage bags, food sharing or the use of solar systems or electric-powered shuttle buses and production vehicles on site - we explore every possibility here.

The W:O:A has only become what it is today thanks to its community and at this point we would also like to involve you in the creation and improvement process of Green Wacken.
