Livestreams on Thursday

Of course we have prepared something for all those who stayed at home: You can follow the unique festival atmosphere from 1 to 3 August from the comfort of your sofa - worldwide via the Deutsche Telekom livestream at stream.wacken.com and magenta-musik-360.de!

The band SKYLINE, who have been with the festival since its beginning, will kick off from 2.30-3.30 p.m. on the Faster-Stage. For the 30th W:O:A anniversary there will be a very special show for the fans with well-known guests, including metal queen Doro and even Skyline founding member and festival boss Thomas Jensen, who will once again play the bass!

From 3.45-4.45 p.m. BEYOND THE BLACK will be on the Harder-Stage. Since 2015 the band around singer Jennifer Haben proves that they have found their place in the world of hard music. On August 31st the new album will be released, and the band will probably present one or two songs from it.

Afterwards there will be classical Hard Rock from the Swiss band KROKUS, who will play the Faster-Stage from 5-6.15 p.m.. Tuning in is definitely worth it here, because at the end of the year the musicians pull the plug and hang their instruments on the hook after a long career.

From 6.30-7.45 p.m. the swedes from HAMMERFALL will perform first-class eighties heavy metal on the Harder-Stage, right before the crazy Aussies from AIRBOURNE will conquer the Faster-Stage to play hard rock while having big fun from 8-9.30 p.m.!

From 10 p.m. on SABATON will present their biggest and most elaborate show in the history of the band. 20 years anniversary of the band meet the 30th edition of our festival - what better reason to celebrate in a very special way. The band will perform on both stages at the same time!

With our livestreams on Thursday eight hours of unique concert program worldwide in HD quality will be available on Smartphone, Tablet, PC and EntertainTV. Some performances will even be recorded with a 360-degree camera. In addition, you can find interviews with artists and other clips in the Magenta Music Media Library.
